  Ennismore Curling Club hosted the third annual Doubles Bonspiel Saturday, Dec. 3rd 2022. Two full draws created an excellent curling day on and off the ice!! Many observers commented on the skill of the players and the draw finishes in this spiel. It was a thrill to watch! Particpants came from as far away as Sturgeon Falls, Listowel and Milton. All curlers were very complimentry about the overall smooth running of the day (Pat McClean, Annette Thomson co-conveners), top notch delicious lunch and many curlers will be returning for the 2023 Ennismore Doubles Spiel. Top score overall, and winners for first draw were Andrea Seeley and John Davies from Lakefield Curling Club while Brenda Nix and Scott Gillard from Milton Curling Club took first place prize for the second draw.

We have brushes available and sliding tape for your sliding foot if needed. Assistive devices will also be available for you to try. You will be greeted by a friendly group of volunteers who will assist you as you learn some of the basic curling skills. Be prepared to have fun! |
